|Antique and unusual "bird in bush" automaton by Blaise Bontems circa 1880.
A fine example of small size with "running water" automaton, a bird flying from branch to branch, another on top of the bush jumping up and down and one other automaton of a "butterfly" flying around the pool by the water automaton. All the time these birds are moving they are making a cheeping sound too. There is also a two tune musical box in the base wound by a cord that plays beautifully.
The boxwood cams are unusual too and the automaton has its original and perfect glass dome.
