|A beautiful ormolu and hand painted austrian viennese enamel boudoir clock, in superb condition. Set on an ormolu and enamel domed base with three ormolu feet, the scene on one side shows a young woman being courted by a gentlman playing a lute, whilst to the other side, another young lady is shown with glass of wine in hand, whilst a gentlmen kisses her other hand. On a circular ormolu socle a kneeling cupid in gilt bronze is holding up the ormolu and enamel watch case decorated by fine paintings on enamel again showing a lady and a gentleman courting, with two cupids and two doves in the clouds above, fitting in with the theme of love and romance.The white enamel dial with arabic numerals and fine gilt bronze hands. In perfect working conditon and without a blemish on the any part of the painted enamel.
