A most unusual Paris porcelain clock in the borne form from the Charles X period. Case probably by Jacob Petit with all over decoration in cream and fine giltwork. The plaque to the front with two figures in the foreground is a celebration of the Greek Revolution of the early 1820's. The clock dates from circa 1825. Silvered engine turned dial signed Baillie a Paris. Striking silk suspended movement together with original pendulum both numbered 264. 18 inches or 45 cms tall.
