A fine and rare French Empire patinated bronze and ormolu basket shaped clock of the " Sleeping Amor", lying exhausted on the top of the basket used to collect grapes from the vines at harvest and filled with grapes and vines. Signed A Paris the clock was actually designed by Jean-Andre Reiche in 1807. The same model is at the Palace de Fontainebleau.
