A good Art Deco shagreen & ivory dome topped mantel clock. In superb condition this lovely clock sits on four flattened ivory bun feet and the case is strung with ivory. The clock is veneered all the way round including the back with shagreen. The underside of the clock is rosewood. The dial is of convex form and engine turned with blued steel hands. The dial is signed ASPREY for the famous Bond Street, London retailer. The movement is of eight day duration and has a lever escapement signed Buren, numbered and has an integral winding key. 6 inches tall. Circa 1925.
