An extremely pretty sub miniature silver and enamel carriage or travel clock in its original leather case. In white enamel with fine applied scrolling work in gilt to the front and top of the case. The white enamel dial with arabic numerals and the minutes marked with gilt dots. Makers mark stamped on rear left foot of G.B. To the bottom of the case is numbered 2772, and marked Argent, silver content mark 9.355 and Valme for the Swiss makers, Depose. The inside of the back door also with these marks and further marked Swiss. The fine 8 day 3 quarter plate movement numbered 1486. The original leather case with hidden key compartment.
