A fine miniature silver carriage clock in rococo style. Standing upon scrolled rococo style feet, the clock is engraved on all sides. The silvered dial with arabic numerals and blued steel hands. Stamped in numerals places including the back door and handle J.B for the maker, sterling silver mark and London date mark for 1888. The eight day, full plate movement with platform escapement. Bevelled glass to the front. The original leather carry case is signed for the retailers Wilson & Gill, Pearl and Diamond Merchants, 134 Regent Street, London. 8cm High (not including hand) by 5.3cm Wide and 4.7cm Deep
