The fine original ormolu with silver highlights to some leaves and buds, a feature found only on the finest porcelain and ormolu clocks.
The D ended base with four ormolu toupee feet has three fine plaques inset into the base all blue ground with superb hand painted flowers.
The full plate brass dial in blue ground decorated with swags of flowers and gilt highlights and having gilt bronze hands.
The sides of the case carrying on the D ended form of the base with convex panels of porcelain to each side.
The top of the case surmounted by a fine blue porcelain urn in two parts and surmounted by a bud finial and swags of flowers falling to the shoulders of the case with profuse use of silver highlights.
The back of the case with hand cut fretting.
The 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a bell. Movement is key wound and regulated by a steel suspended pendulum.
Each porcelain panel is signed and numbered on the inside of the case.
