A fine and good size Carrera marble sculpture of a dancing putti, playing cymbals, after a design by Clodion. A finely carved piece, set upon a red griotte marble base, with a ring of gilt bronze beading. Very good quality, excellent detail to the face. The putti represents a dancing bacchante at a revel. A repair to the top most cymbal. 21" High by 7" deep and 5.5" wide French circa 1860
