A pair of English Regency figural candlesticks in patinated bronze with weighted bases. Each figure of a young woman holding a basket of fruit and flowers and balancing the candlesconce upon her head. Standing upon a naturalistic base with a round socle below decorated with knurling in typical English style. This stands upon a further circular base with Anthemion knurling and finally upon a seven sided base. 8 inches high by 3.5 inch diameter ( 20 cms by 9 cms). Circa 1820.
