A magnificent antique French candelabra base which has been made into a lamp. Superb original ormolu with outstanding applied ormolu mounts of a classical urn within trailing harebells to the three sided base. The stem with superb stiff leaf decoration terminating with forget-me-not flowers. Circa 1815. 24 inches high by 5 inches at the base ( 60 cms by 12.5 cms).
