This is a lovely and unusual version of the Joe Descomps bronze of the "Rights of Spring" which comes in two sizes, this being the smaller. Set on a rectangular Egyptian onyx base this lovely bronze has an ivory scarf and the patinated bronze has highlights to the head and feet in parcel gilding. Joe Descomps born France 1869 died 1950. Circa 1925. 10 inches high ( 25 cms).
