A really fine silver and shibyama walking stick. The shaft of bamboo is well carved with landscape scenes. The silver haft is decorated in a spiral with exotic animals such as Elephants, lions and other exotic animals. The knop of the stick is a fine piece of ivory covered with beautiful insects in shell and hardstone. The shibyama top is clearly signed in the ivory and the silver also has a clear silver mark. Probably Chinese circa 1900.
