Good French bulotte lamp with original tin shade, hand painted with faded gilt over maroon. Standing upon a dish base with highly decorated ormolu casting with a bulbous stem also with decorative castings rising to three candle or lamp holders in the shape of swans. The shade is held up by a soft steel rod and held in position by an ormolu wreath with an arrow flight screw. France circa 1890.
