A very attractive silver, tortoiseshell and silver pique strut clock with a "Goliath" 8 day watch clock. The case with a border of silver enclosing tortoiseshell with inlaid silver ( pique) forming patterns of trailing flowers. The case opens to reveal a fine large Goliath clock watch with white enamel dial in perfect condition and Roman hour numerals. It also boasts a seconds sector above 6. Blued steel hands. The clock is set in its original blue velvet within the leather back case. The case is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927. 4.25 inches high by 3.75 inches wide by 1.25 inches deep ( 10.625 cms by 9.375 cms by 3.125 cms).
