A large antique ivory frame with pen work patterns enclosing an oval miniature painting in watercolour on ivory. The oval painting is of a very attractive lady dressed in the 18th century style in shades of pastel blue. She is seen sitting by an open window and next to a classical urn. The watercolouris indistinctly signed to the lower right hand side. French circa 1880 18.5 inches high by 15.6 inches wide by 0.8 inches deep ( 46 cms by 39 cms by 2 cms) Miniature 7.2 inches high ( 18cms).
