Antique pair of gilt bronze cherubs from a model by Clodion. Excellent casting, very good faces. They are a pair of dancing bacchantes at a revel. One has a tambourine and the other is by a wine sack, both are dancing and are holding up a cornucopia. Both were probably candelabra at one time and with the coming of electricity they were converted to lamps. French circa 1880.
