A very good quality lidded box in silver, tortoiseshell and silver picque. The box in the shape of a shield and the lid with a moulding of harebells all around the edge. The tortoiseshell lid with fine pique work of flowers, drapes and bows. The box by the master of pique work William Comyns. Hallmarked for William Comyns, London 1908. 2.5 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep by 1 inch high ( 6.25 cms by 6.875 cms by 2.5 cms).
