An attractive antique pair of Italian alabaster studio sculptures of a young boy writingin a book and a little girl reading. Both sculptures are after a famous model by Canova. The boy and girl are both sitting on alabaster plinths. Italian circa 1880.17 inches high by 6.8 inches wide and 8 inches deep ( 42 cms by 17 cms by 20 cms).
