A classic and quite beautiful pair of gothic urns. French and early 19th century with pierced tracery patinated bronze urn tops with an ormolu waist falling to the gadrooned patinated bronze cup. The waisted patinated bronze stem with gothic decoration. The unusual and fitting marble stem with an ormolu cap to the top with trefoil design and a fine base with trefoil and gothic arch decoration in both ormolu and patinated bronze. All set on a square marble base. The ormolu has not been cleaned but is clearly in mint condition ( and can be cleaned if required) and of a subtle colour that suits the piece as a whole. French circa 1830. 8 inches high by 4.75 inch diameter and 3.25 inches square at the base ( 20 cms by 11.875 cms by 8.125 cms).
