A top quality French ormolu mounted boulle mantel clock. The mounts are of original ormolu and the boulle is in superb condition. The gilt bronze dial has 12 porcelain cartouches for the numerals and fine blued steel hands. The eight day movement with brocot escapement strikes the hours and halves on a bell. The dial and movement are signed in the bronze "A. Brocot and Delettrez Paris" and the backplate of the mnovement is numbered 6916. The eight day movement strikes on a bell. France Circa 1860.
