A very well carved ivory nude on a shaped wooden base. The nude clearly carved from life and is a real woman rather than an idealised one. The carver has shown her body in a rvery realistic manner. Fine hair and hands. Set on original wooden base. Probably English circa 1920. 11.5 inches high by 3.5 inches wide, figure alone 9 inches ( 28.75 cms by 8.75 cms figure alone 22.5 cms).
