A good pair of Egyptian Revival silvered and gilt bronze five nozzle candelabra. The bronze figures of male and female Egyptians after Picault are standing on shaped rouge marble bases with engraved hieroglyphics set upon silvered bracket feet. The Figures having the original and complete silvering ( not too highly polished) with gilt bronze head bands and bangles to ankles and arms. Both wearing head dress and classsical Egyptian dress. The candelabra arms scrolling upwards and with classically Egyptian fan embellishments. French, circa 1870. 26 inches high ( 65 cms ).
