Antique horseshoe clock by English makers Howell James in ormolu and enamel . Very high quality workmanship to this fine clock by the Royal Warrented firm. The ormolu very well chased and a fine original silvered bronze dial with engine turned decoration. The seven lucky blue enamel "nails" in perfect original condition. Original blued steel hands. Fine movement with lever escapment. Signed on the back of the case Howell James London. Circa 1860 4.5 inches ( 11.25 cm).
