A good antique French miniature mantel clock in white marble and with gilt bronze mounts. The clock in typical Louis XVIth style. The dial in convex white enamel with fine hands and protected by a hinged glass within a gilt bronze bezel. The 8 day movement, key wound and with a good and original platform lever escapement. This is protected at the back by a gilt bronze hinged cover. French circa 1900. 7 inches high by 3 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep ( 17.5 cm by 7.5 cm by 5.625 cm).
