Antique silvered bronze, enamel, tortoiseshell jewellry casket with five carved cameo portraits. The casket with elaborate decoration around each side which include carved cameo portrait of young women within gilt bronze bezels and surrounded by gilt bronze and enamel decoration inlaid with semi-precious stones. The lid of the casket is of tortoiseshell and centred by a large cameo of a woman with flowers in her hair, again surrounded with enamel and gilt bronze decoration with sixteen semi precious stones. The interior of the casket is lined. Probably Austo- Hungarian circa 1890.
