Antique English rococco style ormolu clock signed Dreyfus. Gilt bronze rococco style case on four foliate legs. Drum case holds the movement and the convex white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute numerals, blued steel moon hands all behind convex glass bezel. The dial is signed:- E Dreyfous To Their Majesties. This relates to the warrant held by Dreyfous from King Edward VII and his Queen Alexandra. Large 8 day French movement with 18 rubies. Case numbered 66184. Gilt bronze back cover is finely pierced and has a scarlet silk backing.
