Antique French Empire miniature ormolu mantel clock of Cupid carrying off Time. Set upon the fire gilded, mercury ormolu base, with four fine toupee feet, and with applied ormolu mount of roses, garlands and touches. Cupid holds his bow in one hand, and the movement case, or 'time' in his other hand. A watch movement signed 'Gomet a Paris' with white enamel dial, roman numerals and breguet style hands.
