A fine french empire ormolu and griotte marble portico clock signed Gaston Jolly. Set upon four ormolu bun feet, the four marble pillars have fine omolu mounts to the top and bottom. The white enamel convex dial, with roman numerals, and breguet style half moon hands, is signed on the dial Gaston Jolly Fils a Paris, and is surrounded by an extremely fine ormolu bezel. Tardy has Gaston Jolly working in Paris from 1806, and used the 'Fils' from 1812. French circa 1815 52cm High by 29cm Wide and 14.5cm deep
