An extremely pretty silver and purple enamel sub miniature carriage clock. The case or arched form with bracket feet. Silver engine turned with a brickwork pattern and with fields of purple enamel overlaid. Pretty enamel dial with gilt star to centre, Roman numeral hour markers in black and gilt hands. 8 day, 3/4 plate movement with lever escapement, and numbered 1264. Back of the case stamped Appay. The underside marked with the Swan silver mark for France, and stamped with French silver finemark mark of the head for .950 silver fineness, these marks again on inside of back door. The clock in its original leather travel case, the clocks close, leaving just the dial showing. French circa 1910 5.5cm High by 2.7cm Wide and and 1.875cm deep
