A sub miniature silver and Guilloche enamel with hand painted enamels. Each panel with superb pearl coloured opalescent engine turned, guilloche enamel patterns. Each panel is decorated with hand painted enamel roses, with the front panel having an additional basket filled with roses. The perfect white enamel dial with gilt minute dots, roman numerals and spade hands. The fine, full plate movement with lever escapement of 8 day duration and numbered 11376. Inside of the case retains its gilding, with silver marks on the inside door, handle and underside of case, marked G.A.S for the maker George Adam Scheid, a silversmith and jeweler. 900 for the silver content mark and silver mark for Austro-Hungarian silver. George Adam Scheid worked in Vienna and Stuttgart, he retired in 1911, this clock also has the German hallmark crescent and crown. A superb clock in great condition. Circa 1900. 6cm High (not including handle) by 4cm wide and 3cm deep.
