An exquisite silver gilt and five sided red guilloche enamel carriage or boudoir clock in original leather carry case, with hidden key compartment and original key. The leather case signed on both inner doors in gilt tooling ' L. Desouter from Leroy & Fil's 12 New Burlington St. London'. L. Desouter being the retailer, and Leroy & Fils the clock maker. The engine turned red guilloche enamel in mint condition, and all five sides, a rare colour you don't see often. With white enamel bordering, and white enamel on both sides of the handle. White enamel dial with arabic numerals, set upon four feet. Fine 8 day, three quarter plate swiss movement numbered 78865, inner back door of clock numbered 162 and french silver mark. French circa 1910 4.5cm High (not including handle) by 3.3cm wide and 1.9cm Deep
