A very fabulous sub miniature silver gilt and purple guilloche enamel carriage or boudoir clock by the Geneva Clock Company. Extremely fine engine turned guilloche enamel with overpainted flowers and hand painted scenic pictures. Note the superb use of the engine turned guilloche pattern in the sunset and sky. The underside of case numbered 2281, stamped with the Geneva Clock Co. symbol, 925 silver content mark, London silver mark and date mark for 1910. Inside of back door further stamped with London import mark and 925 silver content mark.The white enamel dial, with arabic numerals and cut gilt hands. The movement is a very fine three quarter plate movement with platform escapement. Swiss 1910.
