A very finely worked and attractive silver and split agate box. Beautifully made and fully lined the matched agate veneers are backed with silver. The lid has a fine silver mount in the rococco style of a classical woman within clouds and gambolling cupids either side. The front and sides of the box are decorated with silver mounts of a classical woman. Dutch circa 1880.
