A very fine and unusual French tortoiseshell and ormolu mounted miniature specimen cabinet. Set on cabriole legs the orinal satin covered interior is accessed by means of a drop down section to the rear with key lock and silver escutcheon. Athere is also a pull out drawer to the front also lined with its original satin. 14 inches wide by 8 inchs high by 6 inches deep. Circa 1860.
