A most unusual English Blue John and silver plated pen or quill holder. A large piece of polished Blue John has been set into the silver plated collar with a pen holders at each quarter. Amazing colour. Probably late 19th century. 13 cms wide by 5 cms high. The Blue John alone 8.5 cms wide by 4.25 cms high.
