A quite superb French bleu du roi porcelain & ormolu lyre clock set. Consisting of the clock with lovely original & perfect porcelain & ormolu and with a moving pendulum bezel of paste brilliants. As the clock ticks the jewelled bezel moves from side to side catching the light. Porcelain dial decorated with flowers & having gilt bronze hands in the form of a lyre. 8 day movement with bell strike. Together with a superb pair of cassolettes that can be shown as urns or if you turn the tops over are candleholders. Lovely condition. Circa 1890. Height of clock 18 inches.
