A French Louis XVIth ormolu and white marble mantle clock, the pylon-shaped canted base with a relief panel of Europa and the Bull, griffins, the mask of Galatea, with cockle shell headdress and amidst dolphins. The white enamel dial signed Sallot Paris. The 8 day movement bell striking the hours and halves and having a calendar hand. Circa 1795.
