An attractive true pair of chinnoiserie French Charles X period ormolu candelabra. Set upon six sides bases with florally decorated six sided stems. On one stem stands the figure of a chinese gentleman in flowing robes, boots, a feathered hat holding above his head in his left hand a chinese parasol above which are held aloft the four candle sconces. Upon the other stem is a female chinese figure with her hair up and also holding a chinese parasol but in her right hand ( and so opposing) the candelabra are French and date from circa 1820-30. 21.5 inches high by 8.5 inches by 5 inches at the base ( 54 cms by 21 cms by 12.5 cms)
