Constructed of irridescent foil backed green enamel overpainted under the glaze on each side in grisaille with a pair of courting couples in 18th century dress. Lovely white porcelain dial picked out in gold with gilt hands. Fine key wound movement. French or Swiss. 4.25 inches high by 2.5 inch diameter ( 10.5 cms by 6.25 cms).
