A most attractive and well modelled English cast iron figure of Sir Walter Scott. Wearing a dress coat with buttons clearly visible at the back he leans casually against a ruined colum with a walking stick in one hand and a scroll bearing the inscription Waverlay in his other hand. Very well worked and in fine condition. 8 inches high by 3.5 inches square ( 20 cms by 8.75 cms). Circa 1880.
