A fine and unusual French or English early 19th century single gout d'Egypt candlestick. The kneeling well modelled patinated bronze Egyptian figure holds a very finely cast and fire gilt candle holder on one knee. Set on a double rectangular base of felspar. Circa 1810. 5 inches high by 5.5 inches wide by 4 inches deep ( 12.5 cms by 14 cms by 10 cms).
