An excellent and good sized Italian Grand Tour version of Scipios' tomb in black and griotte marble. Very well worked and signed to the top front, Cornelius CNF Scipios. Latin text to the front proper. A copy of the tomb of the famous Roman General and Consul. 8 inches wide by 5.25 inches high and 2.8 inches deep ( 20 cms by 13 cms by 7 cms). Circa 1860
