A lovely little antique French Louis XV casket of scarlet tortoiseshell with superb ormolu mounts. Set on ormolu paw feet and with a profusion of ormolu mounts this lovely little box retains its original lock and key. Containing four glass jars with ormolu lids. Beautiful colour and quality. Circa 1760. 2.8 inches tall by 4.2 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep ( 7 cms by 10.5 cms by 8.5 cms).
