A magnificent pair of George III or English Regency figural two branch candelabra in original fire/mercury gilt ormolu, patinated bronze and white marble. Set upon a square ormolu base with finely matted ormolu socle in which the white marble column is set. Each well modelled figure holds a flambeau candle holder in each hand and have fine ormolu drapes. All original hand cut threads and nuts. At one point these had been converted to electricity. Circa 1810. 16.5 inches high by 6.5 inches wide max on 5. inch square base ( 41 cms by 16 cms by 12.5 cms square).
