A good pair of patinated bronze, silver gilt and ivory candlesticks. Set upon square bases decorated with reeding and gadrooning, each blackamoor holds an ivory candleholder in his arms. The top of the candle holder has a sconce of silver gilt. Each figure is very well cast and finished with each blackamoor dressed in an open jacket and short tunic. French circa 1890. 10 inches high by 3.25 inches square (25 cms by 8 cms square).
