An extremely rare if not unique antique Palais Royal automaton of an organ grinder of gilt bronze and mother of pearl, the figure, in Southern European costurme , with moving arm "turning" the organ crank, the organ with gilt "pipes" containing a two-air movement , No. 4622 , with three-tooth per section, gilt bedplate, automaton gear behind the spring, on chased and fretted base with lion paw feet. Absolutely besutiful and entirely original piece in superb working order. The organ grinder working the organ. The movement in mint original condition.
