A fine and unusual cold painted bronze of an oriental student sitting on a chair reading a book with an umbrella at her side. She wears charming spectacles. Excellent condition. All set upon a rouge marble base with gilt plaque upon which is engraved "En Lecture par Maxim". Circa 1920. Probably Austrian. 4 inches wide by 3 inches deep by 5 inches high ( 10 cms by 7.5 cms by 12.5 cms).
