A fine antique French clock set in bleu celeste porcelain and ormolu. The clock with highly decorative two piece porcelain urn to the top flanked by a pair of griffins. To each side of the full size porcelain dial are a pair of porcelain columns. The dial with hand painted scene of Venus and Cupid releasing doves. Sidepieces with porcelain plaque to base and porcelain urn with figures at work in a domestic scene, also with griffin mounts. All on original gilt wood stands with blue velvet tops. 8 day bell striking movement on steel suspended pendulum. Clock case numbered as are all the pieces of porcelain. Clock 16 inches high by 12 inches wide by 6 inches deep ( 40 cms by 30 cms by 15 cms), sidepieces 11 inches high by 4 inches square ( 27.5 cms by 10cms). Bases add another 1.5 inches or 4 cms.
