A good pair of French patinated bronze heads of laughing children after a model by Clodion. Set on rouge marble bases with ormolu socles. The bronzes both carry the signature Clodion in script in the bronze. 9.5 inches high by 3.5 inch diameter ( 24 cms by 9 cms). Claud Michel Clodion 1738 -1814, born in Nancy, France.
